Our Leadership Team

Dan is Group Chief Executive Officer at Fidelis Insurance Group, an Executive Director and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, having joined the company at inception in 2015 where he served as UK CEO and CUO. Dan has over 35 years of insurance experience, having held multiple senior broking roles including Head of Global Retrocession at the Benfield Group and CEO of Aon’s Global Specialty division. Dan is an alumni of the Chicago Booth University’s Aon sponsored Pinnacle program. 

Warrick is Group Chief People Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, having joined Fidelis in 2022. Prior to this, Warrick served in senior consultancy roles for private equity backed insurance brokers, having spent over 20 years in global HR leadership roles which included a decade at Thomson Reuters. Warrick has a BA in Psychology from the University of Witwatersrand and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development. 

Denise is Group Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer for the UK business, Fidelis Insurance Limited, and a member of the Executive Leadership Committee. Denise joined Fidelis in 2015 after 25 years in business change and program delivery. Denise started her career in the FMCG sector before moving into insurance while undertaking program delivery consulting projects for Catlin Insurance. 

Andrew is the Chief Executive Officer of Fidelis Ireland and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, having joined the company as a Consultant in 2022 before becoming Ireland CEO in 2023. Prior to joining Fidelis, Andrew was Deputy Group CRO at the Standard Club. Before this he spent 13 years with the Central Bank of Ireland in a range of supervisory leadership roles. Andrew started his career in reinsurance with 11 years in underwriting and holds an Honors Degree in Maths and Economics from Trinity College Dublin.  

Allan currently serves as Group Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer of the Bermuda platform and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to joining the company in January 2023,  Allan served as an independent financial consultant to the Bermudian (re)insurance industry, including Fidelis, having previously held CFO roles at Platinum Underwriters and Stockton Reinsurance Limited. With over 26 years in (re)insurance, Allan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and also holds the Associate in Reinsurance designation from the Insurance Institute of America and was granted a National Association of Corporate Directors governance fellowship in 2017, becoming “Directorship Certified” 2022.

Hannah currently serves as Group Chief of Staff to CEO Dan Burrows and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Hannah started her career at Lloyd’s before becoming an energy broker at independent NMB, latterly renamed Ed. In 2020, she took on a more strategic role supporting the CEO of the business, with a focus across Specialty lines. Hannah then moved to Ardonagh where she worked with the CEO of their Capital Solutions arm. Hannah holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Durham, an MBA from Warwick Business School and is ACII qualified.

Ian is Group and UK Chief Underwriting Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, having joined Fidelis in 2023. With over 20 years of professional underwriting experience, Ian previously held senior roles at PartnerRe including Technical Director of specialty lines and Head of Group Retrocession where he focused on strategy, risk appetite framework and portfolio shaping. Ian is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance institute.

Miranda currently serves as Group Head of Investor Relations and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Fidelis, having joined the company in 2023. Her career spans over 20 years, marked by senior roles in investor relations and strategic development at firms including Axis Capital, Aeolus Capital Management and Validus Holdings. Miranda began her career as an accountant at PwC and KPMG. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba, Asper School of Business and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda and Manitoba.

Mike currently serves as Group Chief Risk Officer and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, having joined Fidelis as a Non-Executive Director in 2015 and becoming Group CRO in 2023. With over 35 years in the insurance industry, Mike was previously Chief Risk Officer at Lancashire Insurance Company. Mike has also held Head of Internal Audit roles at both Lloyd’s and company market carriers. Mike is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. 

Jonny currently serves as Group Chief Actuarial Officer and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, having joined Fidelis in 2020 as UK Chief Actuary and Group Head of Reserving. Prior to this he was head of reserving for China Re’s Lloyd’s syndicate having spent eight years as an actuarial consultant in the London market while at EY. Jonny is a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from the University of Warwick.

Janice currently serves as Group Chief Legal Officer and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, having joined Fidelis in  January 2023. With over 35 years of insurance experience, she previously served as Group General Counsel and Head of Human Resources at Third Point Re. Prior positions include General Counsel at Ariel Re and senior legal roles at Ace, including General Counsel of Ace Financial Solutions International.  Janice is a US licensed attorney and holds a JD from Rutgers University, an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
